If you have been following me then you might know I am doing this solo. Not anymore! We have been blessed with a great woman who is planning on helping me with the blog. I guess you would call her a contributor maybey more than that ! Without further addue, meet Karen Schwausch. She will be contributing content for this blog and I am excited to have her on board. I sent her a questionnaire to fill out and below are her answers. Please join with me in welcoming our newest member.
1. Age– 40
2.D.O.B.- Aug 17
3.Favorite scrapbook brand- I really don’t have a “favorite” scrapbook brand. But if I had to pick one it would be Doodlebug Design.
4. Least favorite scrapbook brand– Basic Grey would be my least favorite in the sense that they have fewer things that appeal to my taste.
5.Martital status– married 17 years
6.How did you get involved in scrapbooking
– I started scrapbooking back in middle school with putting my awards and pictures and such in the big spiral scrapbooks. Then after learning about how that wasn’t acid free, I redid my scrapbooks and used acid free paper and sheet protectors. I was introduced to Creative Memories in the early 2000’s. I started embellishing my layouts with paper and stickers. Later, I found scrapbook.com
where I was introduced to a whole new scrapping experience. My scrapbooking style has changed over the years as I have learned new techniques and improved my scrapbooking.
7.Favorite color– green
9.Favorite song– Today my favorite song is “Where I Belong” by Building 429
10.How long have you been scrapbooking– Off and on for 25 years, but more regularly for last 7.
11. Favorite artist – Teresa Collins and Tim Holtz
12. Digital or Paper scrapbooking and why– Paper – I started with paper. I think digital is fascinating. I love being able to handle all the different elements used in paper scrapping. It is what I know and I what I enjoy doing.
It is so great getting to know Karen and her likes and dislikes. If you would like to see some of her work please go to – SEPTEMBER B.T.S. CHALLENGE!
